+373 It's easier for an underage (<21) person to get drugs than to be served alcohol in a bar. amirite?

Did you really have to specify what "underaged" meant?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Because it depends on the country, and by under 21, she pretty much narrowed it down to America

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Underage could mean <18...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah it's pretty sad...

When we were underage, my cousin and I used to go to this one liquor store that didn't I.D.

If you're narrowing it down to america, then this post is sort of pointless. There's no age requirement to get drugs, because they're illegal...

There is one to purchase alcohol however, which is probably what they were referring to.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I know. But that seems a bit self-explanatory, due to the fact that alcohol is legal, after a certain age, and drugs are illegal for everyone.

We have the ridiculous age requirement of 21, however. It makes more sense that what's illegal under all circumstances would be harder to do than something that's only for a few more years only in this country. But if you can't compare drugs to booze, Would you rather a 19 year old go to a supervised, regulated bar or buy some bathtub rum off the street/get involved with shady people who would buy it?

Oh, no, I most definitely agree. All I'm saying is that of course it's easier, since most all drugs aren't regulated by the government anyhow.

Probably, I've personally never tried :P
