You'd be cranky to if you were halfway through your life and you finally realize that you didn't accomplish any of the dreams you had when you were younger and not to mention the fact that your body isn't going to get any better looking and you're never going to be as strong as you were when you were a young adult.

A lot of the nicest people I know are in the middle aged woman category. Teenagers can be really bitter too, I guess every group has its rotten apples and people w/ tough lives
