there's the chance that everyone is racist.

I would say that everyone harbours social prejudices, regardless of whether they are based on race. This is something that will always be a part of human nature.

That's exactly what I was trying to say. It's human nature. But sweet old ladies aren't the only people who are possible racist.

Shut up and die, fag. Gays need to be burned to protect grannies and grandpas from being slaughtered.

You haven't seen racist until you've seen my grandma at a baseball game.

I hate people who thinks like this.

think, though

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They really probably are though. You have to consider time period they were brought up in.

Okay, but you can't say "chances are." That's generalizing, and I know plenty of old people who most definitely aren't racist.

I work in a nursing home with over a hundred elderly residents. I'm not just being a negative nancy or whatever. I based this on what I've heard and witnessed. I never said every older person is blatantly racist, but after you've heard "Einie, Meanie, Minie, Moe" sung with its original lyrics, you realize the time period they grew up in was definitely less tolerant.

I don't really care what your surrounding is. I simply don't like generalizations period. It's just my opinion.
