All the doctor-related shows I've seen make them out to be pretty normal, or even abnormal for that matter; Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy, M*A*S*H, House, Doogie Howser, etc.

They are normal for educated people. And educated people tend to curse and act immaturely less.
