:) 6 dogs?? No way!!

Nope. I have three dogs, a sister, and my parents. My sister has (and plans to again) moved out once, too. So, it's not too many.

I have 7 cats and 2 dogs, and i live in a family of seven, i win.

It depends on who is home and when so the dogs get proper care. Some people say, "One for each family member!", but if one family member isn't home, who will care for their dog? I think it's too many. I have a family of 6 and 3 dogs, and it can get pretty annoying/overwhelming. Also, expensive.

3 shitzus. small dogs....easy to take care of.

No. As long as the dogs are loved, fed and taken care of it doesn't matter how many you have. I'm in a family of 3, it's my parents and I after my sister moved out a few years ago. We have four dogs, 3 of which we adopted within the last two years. We're moving to a place with a bigger yard soon and we hope to adopt another dog when we're there.
