Yeah, I'm trying to figure out whether or not this post is trying to say that everyone is straight and they turn gay, or everyone is assumed straight until proven gay. If its the previous one, I'd certainly "No Way" this post.

No, I mean that people are assumed by society to be straight, just like we're assumed to be innocent. It's like a default setting. (edit: See this comment: http://www.amirite.net/452493/825316 )

They're just saying that someone appears straight until they do something that makes people realize they're gay, just like how someone appears innocent until they do something that makes people realize they're guilty.

I don't like the fact that straight is associated with innocent and guilty is associated with guilty. It's probably not how you meant it, but it looks that way to me.

Yeah but that's exactly the point I was trying to make... There are negative connotations on being guilty, just like there are negative connotations on being gay. I was making a bitter observation.
