+375 It sucks when you get marked down on a test because you solved the problem a different way than the teacher wants. "Sorry, thats the chapter 7.3 way. We're on 7.4." "Well then what the fuck did I learn that for?", amirite?

In my maths class we used 3 methods (D-Operators, LaPlace and Fourier Series) to find the same answer of a differential equation. When I asked why she said it was to find the answer when only specific values were given.

In maths you have to show all your working, and if you don't work it out the right way then you get the question wrong, even if you ended up with the right way.
