Or maybe we think that because they're a conceited bitch. I used to feel that way; I don't really care now, because I'm really happy and I know that people who are like that are really just secretly miserable. I have nothing but pity for them.

I realize that some confident girls are bitches. I'm just saying that it's kind of ridiculous that if you say that you don't think you are ugly in response to someone's question, some people will take that as "OMG she thinks she's sooooo hot, what a bitch."

I understand what you're saying; there's a difference between not being down on yourself and putting yourself above others, though. I personally think the accident of genetics that is our faces is the least valid reason for a person to feel superior to anyone; it's not as if it's any accomplishment of our own. Our parents get the credit for that =P I think if you want to have a superior attitude, base it on something you actually did, like earn a PhD or win a Nobel Prize(to use extravagent examples)

I actually completely agree with you about all of that. I don't think anyone should feel superior to others because of things they have no control over. This post was meant more just to say that theres a difference between being confident and not putting yourself down, and being a cocky bitch who thinks she's all that. I probably could have phrased it better in the post, but that was the general idea.
