I can see why you would want that, but think about the line at the gas station. Know your car and you wouldn't have this issue (or the gas arrow) I’d rather do that, rather then wait in line for 30 min. just to get gas. If the tanks were on the same side for every car then there will be a post on here or a FB status saying "waiting to get gas, only 16 cars to go!" or if someone calls that you have planes with asking were you are then you would have to say "Well I have 16 cars in front of me, so hopefully they all don't fill up I’d say give me 45ish min. and I’ll be on my way" Just think about it! This idea would actually suck!

There's such thing as turning around. Maybe instead of just pulling up, you can drive around.

I can see that, but if there's already cars in line then there wouldn't be any room for you to fit in, you would have to wait in line.

I asked my friend who is a mechanic why it isn't. And he came up with some complicated junk that I can't remember about how engines in diffrent cars are diffrent and why. So there is a reason!
