Pluto did nothing wrong to deserve the name of a "dwarf" planet, amirite?

Don't feel bad. Pluto never really belonged with the Planets. The same thing happened with Ceres, Pallas, Juno, and Vesta. They used to be planets too. But as astronomers discovered more and more of these small planets they were then renamed Asteroids and they are in what we now call the Asteroid Belt. When Pluto was first discovered they thought it was about the same size as Neptune. After more observation they learned how wrong that was. Also Pluto is made almost entirely of ice and more and more Pluto like planets were being found. We pretty much ignored this for a while until the discovery of Eris, which was bigger than Pluto. The Pluto problem could no longer be ignored so Pluto along with all of the other Pluto like objects were recategorised in to what is now called the Kuiper Belt. So instead of thinking of Pluto being stripped away from its pals, think of Pluto as finally finding its true home. And that is a much happier story.

This calls for a childrens book.

Also because change happens and people really just need to get over it because it's about science and not the petty emotions of upset teenagers.

These posts are incredibly overdone, unoriginal, and to be honest just plain old boring. It's a planet. It has no feelings and shouldn't be personified anymore because frankly I'm sick and tired of hearing about it.

I have to agree because, indeed, Pluto didn't do anything wrong. It just didn't do anything, period.
