Or who "can't hang out" when you ask them to even though they claim to be your "best friend", but can hang out with their boyfriend/other friends. And she's really starting to piss me off.

Same thing happened to me. Sometimes you just grow apart, and people like that aren't worth having around. You can be friendly without being real friends.

Don't forget the friend who always has an excuse from his/her mother! My favorite ever was "I can't sleep over your house because my mom wants to put up the pool tomorrow afternoon." I kid you not. And the excuse was legit; I heard her mom say it.
