+463 What's with everyone obsessing over the fact that nothing rhymes with orange? 'Purple' has no rhymes, either, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Purple nurple.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ah, you beat me to it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hurdle?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Month doesn't have any rhymes either

by Anonymous 13 years ago

True about month, I thought about that but didn't put it because it isn't a color, haha. And nurple is not a real word...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Silver.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Shiver. It isn't a whole rhyme, but it's an end rhyme. :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Chilver is a word for a female lamb.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Almond, angst, aspirin, breadth, cannabis, chocolate, chimney, depth, different, elbow, engine, film, foible, fugue, galaxy, golf, hostage, iron, justice, luggage, neutron, office, olive, pizza, plankton, sanction, sandwich, transfer, width, and wolf are all words that don't rhyme.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Breadth- Breath, depth Engine- Whinging Iron- Dire Luggage- Muggers Neutron- Proton Olive- Absolve Plankton-Sanction Sandwich- Bandwidth Width- Ditch Wolf- Gulf Okay, these are all only kind of rhymes, but still. :P And I bet there's more, and better ones.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Film and kiln. And rhymes don't have to be direct, if the last few letters are the same or there is a repeated sound or vowel then its also a rhyme. :) I'm writing a song so I had to research all this stuff up.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Film - Limb. They are pretty close.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Close, but no cigar.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

nooo, Door hinge rhymes with orange :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was just thinking that! what was the name of that cartoon?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wasn't it from drake and josh??

by Anonymous 13 years ago

no, it was this short-lived cartoon on abc family back around like 2005. there was one episode where the main character had to speak in rhyme or he lost a bet, so his sister said orange, but he beat her by saying door hinge. it haunts me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

oh, i got this from drake and josh. Drake was writing a song and he couldn't think of something that rhymes with orange, and then josh hit his head on the door hinge......

by Anonymous 13 years ago

dang. my search continues.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes! Best show. I thought that, too.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What's with andy

by Anonymous 13 years ago

YES!! YES YOU HAVE SAVED ME!! thank you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think I saw the same thing! There was some bad guy reporting what happened and he had to rhyme...then someone threw an orange. It might have been Fairly Odd Parents.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Door hinge is two words and therefore doesn't count.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Fine, hinge then. Sheesh

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You do agree that we're trying to find single words that rhyme with orange, right? Otherwise, I could say "more hinge" rhymes with orange.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Door-hinge, then? If you put a hyphen/dash in it, then it's one word! :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But door hinge isn't spelled with a hyphen. You can't just randomly add hyphens to words.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hinge alone still rhyme with orange just notas well. -.-

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Shut up! NO ONE CARES! god damn. It was just a simple joke....

by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago
