No offense, Americans have been paying through the nose for years.

Yeah, but when you've had reasonably average fees for years, it's kinda steep. And they're trying to make entry fairer too.. Because increasing prices massively will obviously make it more affordable/accessible for less-well off people :/ But still, I get why they're doing it and yes, I know, American prices are extortionate.
