+490 You always feel self conscious when you're peeing at a friends house and they don't have a lock on the door- like someone is going to walk in on you at any given moment, amirite?

My boyfriend's mom's house doesn't have a lock on the door. They have a chair in their bathroom and I always put it in front of the door. X.x

actually i feel awkward regardless. especially if you know they are waiting for you because it's only you two in the house. They could be timing you or listening because there isn't any other noise...

That happened to me once. My friend's house was rather long, so her mom was in her room, I was in the bathroom and my friend was in the lounge: mom-------me-------friend My friend and her mom are really close, like I-don't-mind-if-you're-in-the-room-while-I-get-dressed, Hey-mom-I'm-in-the-bathroom-bring-me-a-pad kind of close, so my friend called her mom, her mom though the noise was closer than it was and opened the bathroom door. I was like O_o

Whenever that happens I cover myself and scream " CLOSE THE DOOR" Works every time. I(s really awkward if that happens at school in a one-toilet bathroom cause they are waiting outside to tell you sorry.

My best friend's house is like that...and she has two toddlers so you never know when one of them will decide to walk in on you
