You feel bad for the people whose birthdays are really close to Christmas, amirite?

Not really. It works especially well with siblings. That way, you get the badass awesome present early and then your parents don't have to feel bad about jipping all of you for Christmas. Meanwhile, you're still not bored of your badass present. :P

My birthday is close enough to Christmas for family to complain that it's hard to coordinate people to celebrate, but other than that I don't really mind at all :P

My birthday was supposed to be the day after Christmas, which would be the worst. Then, after all the presents are given, you have nothing else to open and no one wants to celebrate because they're already done. Luckily, I was born 5 days early and that means Christmas and my birthday are a not stop present party :)

Try on Christmas. We open the Xmas presents in the morning, have dinner in the afternoon, then in the evening I open presents and we have cake. :)

it's not too bad, it just sucks because you have to wait a whole year before getting presents again. i dont mean for that to sound selfish, but someone born during, say, july gets presents every 6 months. if you see something you'd like to ask for after christmas is over, you have to wait a WHOLE year before you even get the chance to ask for it.
