Curvature of the Spine FTW- From a Real Scoliosis person (Aka Me)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have scoliosis too and it made my shoulders crooked haha.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

scoliosis isn't really a win, my sister had to have surgery cause of it

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Eh, most of my family has it but it isn't enough to be bad or anything, it's just fun to use as an excuse when people hit you in the back or something.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

oh I get what you're saying now, yeah I have it too(not as bad as my sisters, I think less than 10% curve) and I use it as an excuse to slouch

I had a really bad ase of Scoliosis so I had to get surgery too a couple months ago.. and it still hurts :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

did they put a metal bar in part of your spine and cover it up with bone chips? thats what they did to my sister. She had the surgery when she was 13 or 14. She's 18 now and it still hurts her to get patted or hit on the back

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Aha yeaah exactly and they left me with a horrible scar :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm sorry it's apparently a difficult recovery, when did you have the surgery?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeaah..I was out of school for like 4 weeks..so I lost a lot of points and my grades went down.. and I had it like on..October 6th on this year..

by Anonymous 13 years ago

well at least it worked! you probably know this theres like some really high percentage that you can get paralyzed during the surgery

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ughh yeaah..That's why I was really really scared :/ Plus it was my first surgery ever haha

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that would be scary :O

Such a cruel, funny post

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have scoliosis and also kyphosis and i thought this post was pretty amusing.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I love this.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

so bad but so good

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My sister had it and nearly died. It was so severe, if her operation had been a week later, her windpipe would have closed. I fucking lol'd at this post though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have it, but not that badly. I thought the post was funny though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They said I had it too but like from a scale from 1-10 it was like a 1. But everytime I'm walking too much, sitting too much, standing too much, it hurts:/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Same here. Last year my doctor told me I have scoliosis but than this year I went again and she said it was gone but my back STILL kills me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have kyphosis and Sherman's disease, and it's awesome.. NOT. I guess it does really throw a curve though.. way to keep the humor in the situation ha y
