+412 It's creepy to know that each year in the US 800,000 people go missing and that the next one might be you, amirite?

It would be one of my life's more awkward experiences if I went missing in the US any time soon.

I would be very creeped if it was me, but you never know

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It'd be even more creepy if you didn't live in the US.

Pshhh.. Theres no way it could be me! I don't live in the states! ;P

800,000? That's a made up statistic. That's almost a million people. 1 in 350.

(greendarthpotato) According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 797,500 kids ALONE went missing. That's about 2,185 each day. And now I am thoroughly depressed.

I didn't make this up. It's a real statistic.

Phew! Good thing I don't live in the US. That's twice as many missing people then my whole country. I would have been gone missing a good 28+ times by now.

is that a real statistic?! thats ridiculous. how could you lose that many people???

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes, it's real. It also includes people that you found later, I suppose.
