When you realized Santa wasn't real, you didn't tell your parents right away, amirite?

My uncle and aunt never even bothered to lie to me or buy presents. They just tossed me a Tootsie Roll or some candy and said, "Merry Christmas." (Although I was a smart kid)

Nah, not really. I guess hearing about it, it might sound sad... but when you're in the situation it's like, "Oh just another day, oh except I got CANDY, SWEET!" No pun intended

Ohyeah. I remember finding a reciept or whatever with all of my sisters and my Christmas gifts on it, so we figured it out then. But, yeah, we never bothered to tell our mother. Because, hey. More gifts. :)

I saw my Christmas list with the Harry Potter Scene It crossed off. Guess what I got from Santa. I didn't tell my parents for about 4 years :)

I believed in him until I was around 7...and since then, I've been pretending to think that he was real so I could still get presents. That stopped when I was around 11, lol.

I always that that Santa brought be one gift and then my parents got me the rest, so it took me FOREVER to figure it out. I was like eleven -.- I don't even remember figuring it out though. I just kinda knew after a while I guess

I did that, except with the Tooth Fairy. They gave me 5 bucks a molar, so I didn't tell them until I'd lost all my teeth.

there was this girl in first grade named alexis keys and she just stood up, out of no where, in the middle of the summer pointed her finger at every kid in the room and said loudly "SANTS CLAUS ISN'T REEEEAAAAL!" So I went home and asked my mom about it, and she didn't even look at me while she said "nope". Apparently Oprah was on and she had been saying something about it and to this day my mom still believes Oprah told me Santa Claus didn't exist.

My mom told me like in the 4th/5th grade I was all old already! I wanted to cry so bad but I laughed instead and said I already knew, I didn't. And years later I found out she cried after she told me lol.
