Taylor swift doesn't even sound country anymore, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
ikr? She's all pop now.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Exactly!! I honestly think her debut self titled album was sooo much better than fearless and speak now!!!

She just doesn't have that country twang anymore :/

Eh, her original ones sound more country, I agree. But I still think her music does sound country - like Never Grow Up. Sorry to disagree, that's just my opinion.

My sister listens to country when she drives to school, and she also drives me, so I'm forced to listen to country.
Taylor is not country. She's acoustic pop.

She's actually considered "country pop". It's defined by the rhythms and melodies of her music, pop music with a country flavor pretty much.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Ah. I see.
I just know some people called her country because she played the acoustic guitar.

Your sister must have good taste in music.
by Anonymous13 years ago
No. She likes Nickelback.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I love nickelback!! :))))

My friend once compared her new style to Paramore, and I think she has a point.

Also doesn't sound as terrible.

Today it seems they're all Country Pop now.
by Anonymous13 years ago
that's mainstream country, there's some good true country still
by Anonymous13 years ago
I never thought she was country in the first place honestly.
A southern accent and cowboy boots does not make you a country singer.
