+584 If you can't legally drink the champagne used to toast your new life, you probably shouldn't be getting married. amirite?

Probably in most cases, but my cousin got married straight out of high school to a Marine - 11 years, 3 kids, 2 deployments to Iraq and 1 to Afghanistan later and it's still working, so who knows :)

My parents got married at 19. Today was their 20th anniversery.

For some people. I'm getting married shortly at a young age and I have zero doubt in my mind that we are in it for the long-haul. However, I also do realize that some others at my age can barely return their library books on time, let alone carry out all of the responsibilities that come with sharing your life with another person. Mind you, I'll be old enough to drink both in the States and my native eh? xD
