+247 When you buy clothes that are like American Eagle, HCo, A&F, or Aeropostale, you are just paying for the name... the clothes are actually crap and you know that, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Pants shouldn't cost 75-100.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You should see Coach. $1,400 for a medium sized ugly brown bag.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You should see Stella McCartney's clothes. An ugly denim shirt for 515 dollars.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yea... The clothes are low quality crap and you end up being a walking billboard and it's expensive... It's lose/lose/lose

by Anonymous 13 years ago

American Eagle has some pretty good jeans. The ones I buy there always last me a long time.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I just bought some today lmao(: haha

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, American Eagle is actually pretty good. Most of my jackets and jeans are from there. They're very soft ^_^

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I hate their shirts, they stretch like hell. but the jeans are awesome and comfy.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I agree! American Eagle jeans are the best, and they usually have some good sales online so you can get them for under $30 a pair.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

If you go to Marshalls you can get them for 15 dollars

by Anonymous 12 years ago

i agree i love American Eagle because they last. the jeans there are nice, they last long and they are comfy so i am willing to pay 50 bucks for a good pair of jeans.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

meh, unless it's something I actually need like jeans, shorts or swimsuits.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

My mom refuses to give money to the A&F company cause they make push up bikinis small enough to fit 7 year olds.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

..your mom wont give them money because they make small clothing?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, my mom wont give money to them because they make small children clothing that will make it look like they have boobs.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

its not necessarily for small children, its probly for small/flat-chested girls.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

actually, i didn't know those clothes were crap. they seem pretty un-crappy to me..

by Anonymous 12 years ago

hollister is lesser quality, but a&f is made of really nice material. so get your facts straight pleasee OP.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

@1137240 (ladygagamonster): the shirts are stretchy piece of shit that squeeze your armpit. theyre bad concidering the price. btw: not fact, opinion.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well that was rather painful to read...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

personally, i have NEVER had a HCo, Aerie, A&F, or Aeropostle shirt that squeezes my armpit..i think your probly wearing a size too small or something.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I agree, except for American Eagle jeans. I haven't found any other brand that fits my booty so perfectly.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I don't think their clothes are that crappy, I'd never shop at those stores though they're way too expensive I just wear my friends' clothes from them.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You can't compare abercrombie to aeropostale. Abercrombie is much higher quality and that's reflected in the price.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

no-name all the way! I wouldn't call brand cloths, bad cloths though, just overpriced, very very overpriced and of equal quality to most no-name stuff.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I've found clothes at Target that are cuter than some of those stores, but I do love AE jeans.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I like American Eagle...some of their clothes are nice.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

American Eagle has good quality stuff.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I've gotten a couple pairs of jeans from those stores and they lasted me YEARS, while the jeans i bought for $20 less were completely worn out within a year or less. I'm willing to spend $40-60 on a quality pair of jeans. However, most of the shirts from those places are very cheaply made.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Abercrombie has theee best clothes. I've had dark wash jeans from there from forever ago and every time I wear them someone asks if I got new jeans. Their shirts are so soft. I think all of those places have good quality clothing.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You're only paying for the logo if you want to. There is a difference between buying a pair of jeans where you cannot tell where they are from unless you actually look at the tag, and buying a shirt where the majority of the fabric is companies logo. Yes those stores do contain the graphic tees where the graphic is an advertisement for the store itself, but they do also have clothes available for purchase which don't.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

My goodness. If you think that's expensive you obviously haven't been into Burberry where a jacket could be up to $5000 or Louis Vuitton where the sunglasses pretty much start at $500... *sigh*

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm not a brand person, quite the opposite. But abercrombie and hollister clothes are great quality! I was surprised, but they use like the softest, heaviest cotton. The bad thing is, they sell you the brand name.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I like Vans, $10-20 for a surprisingly nice and comfortable shirt. And its a good brand, too.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Who even wants that brand at all?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Honestly, I haven't had much luck with Aeropostale at all. However, Hollister and Abercrombie actually have great jackets that I usually buy on sale and wear all the time. I don't really care about the brand and I would still wear them even if there wasn't any mention of either of the brands just because they are comfortable.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

As long as yoou look for sales, you can buy stuff for cheap anywhere. I got three pairs of amazing jeans from American Eagle for about 45 dollars, and today I got a pair of jeggings for about fifteen dollars. Discount cards and coupons help too! They're quality, and I pay faaaar less than everyone else.

Why did I read a majority of the comments in valley girl voices?
