The french have been our allys for a long time and although their military actions in the World Wars werentbbest for the whole goal. Yyou have to understand germany had already taken over most of Europe andbit was the best way to defend its people because germany had a larger and stronger army

Its not their war and they have strong trade relations with them amid they were cut off they're economy would be hit pretty bad. So joining our fight would hurt them rather help them
