So that it can be like the cliche scary movie thing where the murderer starts the chainsaw and chases after the person they're trying to decapitate.

In real life, the person would probably get away before the murderer could even get the chain saw started. Or at least that's how it would go if the murderer used my chainsaw.

lmfao. yeah I know absolutely nothing about starting chainsaws, but usually in movies they make is look really easy. The person usually only has to pull the thing once or twice before it starts up.
