At least most religions tolerate it nowadays. Except the many, mainly Muslim countries, where they actually condone the amputation of the visible part of a girl’s clitoris at an early age to prevent it. Still can’t get my head around the fact that their men would want a wife that doesn’t enjoy sex, and often actually finds it painful.
