+118 I much rather live a life believing in a god and dying finding out there isn't one, rather then living a life not believing in a god and dying finding out there is one. Pascal's wager is right on. amirite?

If there is no God, when you die how do you find out that there isn't one? Or is this under the assumption that you still have some form of conscious spirit after death?

you "find out" when nothing happens.

"Or is this under the assumption that you still have some form of conscious spirit after death?" That's why I asked both questions, thanks.

This argument irritates me. You have one life. Live it with some balls, please. Not as a coward. I respect people who have strong beliefs more than those like you.

Yeah, I really don't think the whole point of religion is fear. Wait, no I take that back, it totally is.

Why would you want to believe in any god who rewards people who only believe "just in case"?

I am an atheist so I don't believe in god, but if he turned out to be real and was as forgiving like everyone says he is, then when I die he will forgive me for not believing him
