Trying to save your score by doing the opposite of what you just posted? You're either new or a troll---- so I'll give the benefit of the doubt and say new.

I'm really hoping this score stays at 35 and his previous post stays at -35

I've never heard someone call it a roll before.

Both are okay. I hear roll more often.

The difference is in the crease on top of the bread. A bun is smooth on top, a roll has a crease where the dough was 'rolled' by the baker. It's more common to see burgers on onion rolls than onion buns, but burgers are more often served on buns (since the bread is usually made in a factory not by a baker). If you actually have some then just look at the top, if there is a crease then it's a roll, if not it's a bun.

I've never heard anyone call it a bun. Even at the shop it's ''hamburger roll''.
