This always makes me sad. I'm pro choice, but I think people should choose life, because there are many people who would love to give a baby a home.

True, it is a very selfless thing to give up your baby-but it is hard to carry one for 9 months and birth it, all just to hand it over.It would be a heartbreaking ordeal if a girl decided last minute she wanted to keep the baby. Also some people may not be able to carry a baby because of their work, or cant afford pre-natal care (unless the adoptive family pays for it)

I agree with you, but the real sad thing is most people don't want to adopt. Most stories that I've heard people only adopt if the fertility treatments don't work.

Well, that's understandable too. Preferably, everyone wants a child that's their own flesh and blood, not a kid who came from God knows where, sad as that may be. But I know plenty of couples that adopted, and they couldn't love any child more than the one they have. It's a hard option to accept, I think, but once you do, you will love the kid no matter what.

It's true, and it's sad. That's why I'm thinking of adoption for later. Even though I'd like to have my own kid someday, and will probably be able to, there are just so many kids that already exist and are already in need of a home and a family. But still, even if there's no one to adopt them, and they live in orphanages, they still have a chance at a future, especially considering how much money colleges give to orphans. And I think it's wrong to take that chance away from them.

I think so too - but if I was pregnant, I'd be panicking and probably wouldn't THINK of adoption. And I, too, am thinking of adopting someday instead of having my own kids.

Not everyone that gets an abortion is irresponsible, some people are just trying to get by in life and there is no way that they could do that with a baby or even dealing with carrying a baby.

I don't think that ALL the adults dying for a baby can't get pregnant, only a small minority.

Those parents who can't have children, might also have been irresponsible teenagers who thought they got lucky never falling pregnant young...
