+427 There should be something like a "Smart Kitchen." Every grocery is scanned into the pantry and fridge and accounted for by some kind of computer, which can send inventory and alerts to your phone while at the store. It helps you pick out ingredients for recipes and adjusts whenever you use something, keeping tabs on ingredients you use often and reminding you to restock on certain things, amirite?

YUS. Jump! Jump! The house is jumpin'...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Whatchu talkin' about? I'm just talking about a more advanced, computerized kitchen.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

sounds like the perfect mothers day presant. for a woman.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Dude, just 'cause it deals with food doesn't mean it's for a woman. Technology turns men on.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

true, but it doesnt turn me on like a smart-garage would.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

hmm Maybe.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You should develop this, and make billions!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Or you could make a grocery list...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Even making a grocery list yourself, you could forget stuff.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, that sure is true. Plus, who wants to write a list, anyway? it's so archaic.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

doesn't something kinda similar to this already exist? but it still sounds cool

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not that I know of. :O

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Or people could learn to pay attention and remember stuff.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

aw, no fun. Technology enables our laziness :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I read about a refrigerator that analyzes what you have, comes up with recipes with whatever you have left, and you can even order food from the fridge. It's $6500 or something like that, though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I heard about that too. :O I came up with this idea before that tho, and I didn't think that fridge was a real thing when I saw it. Just a concept, I thought.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It does seem pretty 2200. And it's a pretty badass idea.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You just posted the entire description of current technology advances. Be more original, you douchebag.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No I didn't.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you douchebag.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

There might as well also be a smartcart that goes grocery shopping for you and can also make satellites shoot laser beams from space to melt the snow on your driveway so you don't have to shovel it. And hell, why not make a mini grappling hook that you can use to get your remote so you don't have to move your arms?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Don't be ridiculous. What I proposed is actually doable/marketable, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was developed.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Me neither. If the snuggie can sell so well, this will make millions. I wouldn't be surprised if there's already an app of something that keeps track of groceries.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Same.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

There is.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You haven't patented those ideas yet, have you? Those are actually pretty cool ideas.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Your Mum): No mum, could you give me a ride to the patent office?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This actually does exist in the form of a $5000 fridge

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I read an article on cracked.com about a fridge that scans items, suggests food you're low on, suggsts recipes and can order the food online and have it delivered to your house

by Anonymous 13 years ago

im pretty sure that GE already built pretty much exactly what you are describing so . . .

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I've seen something similiar at disneyland in the future exhibit thing. But I don't think its like out for the public.
