Bambi?

A tragedy is usually defined as having a bad or unhappy ending. While several bad things happen in Bambi the overall ending turns out good so it is not a tragedy.

Hannah montana movie. bad things happen, bad ending that made me unhappy.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That ending isn't bad either! The fans agree to keep her secret!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I haven't seen it. I'm just assuming it's a terribad movie.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If you haven't even seen it why did you say "bad ending that made me unhappy"?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

wow. you really did not get @Philisophical_Panda's joke.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Toy Story 3 would've set up perfectly for this if everyone died. Oh well.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I like a feel-good ending. That's why I go to see Disney movies. If they made a tragedy, everyone would be fucking pissed

The fox and the hound :( :(

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not a tragedy.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Have you seen it recently? After the best of friends song everything goes downhill. It doesn't even end happily ever after. It's as sad as disney can get considering it's for CHILDREN

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No I actually haven't seen it in like 5 years, I was just relying on the wikipedia article so could you explain why it's a tragedy?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's on youtube. dog grows up to be a hunting dog that is supposed to go after and kill the fox. The fox's owner released him into the wild thinking it was for his own good, and it's the same woods where the dog goes hunting. During the hunting of the fox the dog's owner gets attacked (decently graphically) by a bear. The fox saves the dog's owner so they come to a small alliance, the dog and fox see each other again (cue reprise of previous happy song) and they go their separate ways. Sounds pretty tragic to me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well I guess you're right. I didn't really think it was a tragedy becasue nobody(besides the bear) dies but I guess the whole "go their seperate ways" is an unhappy ending.

LOVE THAT MOVIE! Really, really depressing

by Anonymous 13 years ago

When I read this, I thought of a Disney version of Hamlet...which would pretty much be the Lion King, except with everybody dying at the end. EVERYBODY! So G-rated.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I just went to disneyland today. I cannot imagine a sad ride there where you dont go out like that was sooo cool! you go "oh."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

pirates of the Caribbean. it was a tragedy, pretty much. I mean, not many people died, but it had a bittersweet ending.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

well I guess that counts but I meant the cartoons

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Tru Confessions?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow, I can't believe someone else actually remembers that movie!

Pocahontas has an unhappy ending. Pocahontas and John Smith DON'T end up together. (I'm ignoring the shitty sequel... though even THEN she doesn't end up with John Smith)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's still overall good, John Smith lives and the Indians and settlers sort out their differences

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I guess so

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Um.. Why? What would Disney be without Happily ever after? You do know these movies are meant for small children right? Just... no.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Does the Hannah Montana movie count because of it's mere existence?
