Are you talking book smart? Because the popular people at my school actually have brains in that way.. but a social filter or the ability to be civilized? No. They act like idiots all the time. They always make the biggest scene -.- Not that I'm not guilty of the occasional obnoxiousness .(is that a word?)

Yeah, like grades wise. No, the popular people at my school have no verbal filter whatsoever. I was at our Senior Europe trip meeting (all popular kids except for me and one other guy) and the first question asked was "So, is pot still legal in Amsterdam?" This was asked to his teacher. SMH

Really? The popular kids at my school were popular //because// they had a verbal filter and knew when it wasn't ok to say something. The kids that didn't were the "outcasts"

Honestly, I think there's a pretty even distribution in every social group. I know a lot of popular kids that are really smart, and a lot that are idiots. The same goes for geeks, jocks, kids with no friends, hipsters, and basically every other group you can think of

I think the popular people don't really have stereotypes...they're just the people that are most fun to be around. Not to mention there isn't just one group of popular kids. There's different cliques with their own group of popular kids
