According to my teacher, it's no longer about education but SOLELY about money. And he has one of the highest salaries in the district.

My idea of understanding the world is knowing how society and what not works, I could get that from going to school, but I wouldn't need to be educated on anything school related to do that. And as far as bettering myself? how does an education do that? knowing about blahblahblah isnt going to change my morals.
