+152 The ending of the Twilight series was very anticlimactic. It was like when you have to sneeze and it builds up more and more and more and then suddenly... it goes away, leaving you feeling a bit disappointed, amirite?

I read half of BD, and then stopped out of boredom. But I looked up the ending on Wikipedia, and I'm very glad I didn't continue it.

It was. That's another reason why I hate it. You don't build up and build up and almost start a fight and not go through with it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I read in an interview that the reason why there was no fight was because Meyer had grown such an attachment to her characters that she didn't want them to get killed. WHATAPANSY

Good authors aren't afraid to let some characters go.

I don't mean to start back up the whole Twilight/Harry Potter argument, but that's another reason JK Rowling will always be better than Smeyer. Rowling's husband found her sobbing on their kitchen floor after she killed off Sirius Black, but she still went with it.

Yeah. That safe, boring crap is for real life only. When I read, I want excitement, dammit.

breaking dawn was the last book?!

No shit, moron.

stephanie meyer was rumored to be rewriting all the books from edwards point of veiw so it was never made clear.

Way to downvote my comment and up yours. And no, because the Edward thing got leaked and she's too weak to continue it because "she's so hurt".

by Anonymous 13 years ago

oh, why is 'she so hurt'???

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Because someone leaked her book.... ono

by Anonymous 13 years ago

no shit, but that just seemed like a crappy reason couldnt really make somebody weak. whered u find this out?

"So where does this leave Midnight Sun? My first feeling was that there was no way to continue. Writing isn't like math; in math, two plus two always equals four no matter what your mood is like. With writing, the way you feel changes everything. If I tried to write Midnight Sun now, in my current frame of mind, James would probably win and all the Cullens would die, which wouldn't dovetail too well with the original story. In any case, I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on Midnight Sun, and so it is on hold indefinitely." http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/midnightsun.html This proves she is just too weak to continue it. Most other writers would continue on or scrap the project and start anew.

Why are you discussing this. This is like dissecting Justin Bieber's lyrics.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I was just glad it was over....

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Who forced you to read the book?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The hype. ono
