+651 It is sad when a new person moves to your school and instantaneously becomes more popular than you could manage to become in your entire schooling life, amirite?

I don't care about popularity. I haven't since 6th grade, so.

Yeah, because being popular is the most important thing at school. Not excelling academically or in sports. No, popularity is everything. That's shallow if I ever did see it

Well, it's better than being lonely and unpopular and not having any friends. If everyone hated you/ignored you, it wouldn't really matter how good you were at anything else.

You dont have to be popular to have friends? What kinda teen-drama are you living in?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know, but I'm saying if you were *extremely* unpopular, as opposed to just not extremely popular.

Personally, I don't care about being popular, but I won't deny that popularity still goes on.Just because you talk about getting a few good friends, people still judge you and will judge you. Hence, popularity.

Why would I want to be popular? All those girls are slutty bitches whose only friends are each other. Guys will never like them for anything but their looks and after highschool theyre screwed.

Due to me being hating through my school career, I was the "OMG DON"T GO THERE" part of the popularity chart.

Being "popular" doesn't matter all at any stage of life. Many of the "popular" kids in high school wound up doing nothing with their lives after high school. Sucks for them that high school is when they peaked.

I don't care about popularity but one of the supposed "popular" girls just moved here like a year ago.
