+359 If you haven't seen Inception, all these people making references left and right is REALLY confusing, amirite?

In trig we talked about fractions inside fractions or...Inception Fractions. or parentheses inside parentheses...Inception Parentheses

The top didn't stop spinning! Is it a dream?!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

but it was wobbling..

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And then, fadeout. That's when you want to give Christopher Nolan a cheerful sucker punch to the gut.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It definitely fell over. It NEVER wobbled in the dreams.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But did it ever show it spinning for that long in the dreams in the first place? Maybe it always wobbled a bit after a while.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But if the entire reason it doesn't fall is because another persons subconscience doesn't know how to react to it, then why would wobble after time? I think it would either wobble right away, or not at all. Also, by that point, he had every reason to wake up.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Unless a subconscience grows adjusted to something after a while? Not enough to tip it, but enough to cause a slight blip. And if he hadn't known he was in a dream, how would he have known to wake up?

...I haven't seen the movie in a long time, and I'm REALLY tired right now, so I'm very sorry, but I don't remember enough to continue discussing.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hey, no problem. I'm in the same boat, and I honestly think it was going to fall over. I was just making stuff up by the end there. Sometimes it's fun to argue.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@Serenity94: but didnt he see his kids' faces in the end?? He couldnt do that in the dream....which I really didnt get.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm still fuzzy on that. Remember when he was in a dream (either in the basement or limbo, forget which) and his wife called to their kids? They were turning, but he turned away himself. I'm not sure if he /couldn't/ see them or just didn't /want/ to. He might've thought he would started believing the dream world was the real world if he did see their faces.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It was totally a dream, his kids hadn't aged at ALL.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, and my dad pointed out that they seemed to be wearing the same clothes...dunno, really.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Some people say that if you stay after the credits you can hear the top fall. And I do think it was reality because the top never wobbled in a dream.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In the dreams he is wearing a wedding ring in reality he isnt. at the end he wasnt so at the end he was in reality

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well Inception is just one big mindfuck.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's your fault, you should of seen Inception.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I haven't seen it, but apparently it's about dreams or something.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Really? From what I gather, it's about a hamburger who is just trying to find his place in the world, but he goes through a series of mishaps due to the shenanigans of one clown who escaped from the zoo.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Damn. I was way off. Thanks for clearing that up for me! (:
