It's worse if it happens on a normal weekend. At least on a snow day, it means that you're not getting behind in school. Imagine getting sick on Friday night and getting better Sunday night.

When I was in 6th grade, we had a lovely 3 day snow day. But could I enjoy it? Nope. I had a 103.9 degree fever for 5 days straight and was falling over everytime I got up. I didn't even get to miss school because the day I started getting sick, was also the day the snow started. And the nurse wouldn't let me go home because I was, "probably just tired."
