Cliff Notes for the Bible just doesn't seem right, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
yeah, but they might must be using it to understand the bible better

Good point, I mean sometimes I used sparknotes on a book I DID read, but just wanted to understand it fully.
Some people just take changing the word of God (even changing the format really erks some) really hard. Critisism would come to trying to alter any religions Sacred Writings.
So if it was a person trying to understand it and honestly needs it, kudos to them, but some may find it offensive you know?

that's true, it is kind of presumptuous to assume that you can interpret the bible for people.

Exactly, but I guess it depends on how you would use it. I mean there will always be the people who read the Cliff Notes as opposed to reading the book, and the people who read both to fully understand it. Using Cliff Notes all depends on the person.

Well, they do need cliffnotes for fiction...

At a certain Point of Veiw, I guess you could argue that if you're not Christian. Personally, I believe it to be true.

Ok. And point of view does not need capitalization...

Oops. Well thanks for telling me! I'll remember that.
