I just have shiny patches on my finger and thumb, where the skin has just worn away :/
by Anonymous13 years ago
lmao mine's on my fourth finger because i hold my pencil funny :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
I hold my pencil weird too, so I have a shiny patch on my fourth finger and my thumb bruises all the time. ._. My thumb is permanently squishy from it. [I'm a writer, so I write A LOT.]

I also write funny so I also have a bump on my 4th finger. Though, lately I have been trying to teach myself to write normally, so now I am developing a little bump on my middle finger too. I just have really messed up fingers now.

by Anonymous13 years ago
i also have mine on my fourth finger, but i am also left handed, so its even wierder, its made the nail grow kinda weird.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Do you get bad hangnails on that finger too? I used to when I was still in high school. (also a lefty that had a bump on the ring finger)
by Anonymous11 years ago
It's nice to know I'm not the only one who writes weirdly...
by Anonymous11 years ago
I thought I was the only one that has that bump! :O
by Anonymous13 years ago
I thought it was just me too, my friends all thought it was weird. It's nice to know I'm not alone. :)
by Anonymous12 years ago
I left school 3 years ago, and the bump is still there.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Why is there a bump there?
by Anonymous13 years ago
its from writing, your pen/pencil sits there, and rubs against it, causing shiny skin, bumps, grooves, that kinda stuff
by Anonymous13 years ago
It's on my fourth finger too! But I don't think I hold a pencil funny haha
by Anonymous13 years ago

by Anonymous13 years ago
There's no such thing as "holding a pencil funny." Everyone has their own way of holding a pencil. My bump is on my fourth finger. :)
