+497 When you recognize an area or location in a movie/on the internet you for some reason get a burst of excitement. You're not sure why, but all you can think is (for example) "Omg, I went to the same beach that Owen Wilson has stepped foot on.", amirite?

Really, it's more of a "OMG, what I've done and where I've been has enough significance to show up in a photograph for the public to see!"

I've been to the town where they filmed Groundhog Day and go to the same school as one of the next season's Survivors

They filmed the school shots of The Hannah Montana movie in my school. All i felt was shame though.

I went to a restaurant in Baton Rouge that I later found out was the Twilight cast's favorite while they were filming Breaking Dawn. Even though I hate Twilight.. it's cool to think they've been there.

I've stood where Aragorn and King Theordan (Spelling?) stood in the third lord of the Rings movie when they were looking out on all the soldiers of Rohan. It was pretty cool, it looks out on this great view of Wellington.
