+313 I think the name "Benjamin" is an appropriate name for any baby from a sperm bank. The name literally means "son of my right hand" and if you think about it, that's exactly what a sperm baby is. amirite?

How does Benjamin mean "Son of my right hand"?

I don't know. We were looking up name meanings in class the other day and someone typed in Benjamin and that's what came up.

...HEY! D: Jk. It's Hebrew. Ben = Son of, Jamin = Virtue, right, south, etc. Right hand referring to the right hand of God.

In Hebrew Ben in son (or son of in this case), and Yamin is ( in biblical Hebrew at least) the right hand or the strong hand. Yamin over time has turned into Jamin (through odd transliteration probably). Thus: Benjamin means sin of my right hand.
