-686 Girls, we have a right to spend $150 on shoes, $200 on hair, be loud, dress up, and take a few pics of ourselves.. and if a guy calls you high maintance he's just admitting he is not worth your time. amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

As long as you're willing to accept the consequencs of spending unholy amounts of money on unnecessary shit, go for it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Your username is fucking epic

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If this is a description of you, then you sound like you were made in bloody China.

@981461 (verticallychallenged): actually, the honest truth is that I haven't had a post on the homepage in a really long time and it seems like these "self-confidence" building posts get on the homepage frequently... and Mike_Hawk: we, well at least I spend that kind of money at most once a month and verticallychallenged: I am not like this. at all. well except for the hair cause I'm black and you can't tame this hair

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, I see where you're coming from-but they are also facebook groups ;). And in my head I was imagining a 16 white girl, who bleaches their hair every month and spends ridiculous amounts of money on orange looking tan. The line "you can't tame this hair" did make me smile. I can't be too critical either, I spend the pounds on hair dye-it's just the shoes one that got me; I'm way to tight with my money to splurge!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

lol, I hate spending money as well so I purposefully leave my wallet home every single day unless I plan on spending money

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Like I said, if you're good for it, go ahead. It's just that if a girl started spending like that, and then needed money from me to support her lifestyle, I'd just be like: "Nah, bitch. Chill."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What could you possibly do to your hair that costs $200, lasts more than a day and doesn't look like you took markers to it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

SOMEHOW, implant tiny diamonds in your roots?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ffff, even then, not worth it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nothing hair related is worth $200 (or £125 - i'm british) to me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i said before, I'm black and my hair lasts for at least two months. and i've only spent 150 on running shoes twice. I was just trying to get on the homepage cause these "self-confidence" building stupid posts always seem to be on the homepage

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't see how this is self-confidence tbh, it seemed more like you were teasing at girls who think spending $300 on shoes is nothing.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Get a Japanese perm or a Brazilian hair treatment.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Keratin treatment? Lasts a few months.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

People if that's the way she chooses to spend her money so fucking what!? Why be so uptight and judgmental about the way ppl spend their own money. Sound like a lot of haters if you ask me

by Anonymous 13 years ago

are you really that desperate to get on the HP?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm desperate to get on your "home page". hello

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well that'll be easy if you keep using one liners like that one.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Do you happen to have a band-aid? I scraped my knee falling for you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

what a bitch

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If it's your hard-earned money, do whatever the fuck you want with it. Jesus, some people are too uptight with their "standards" now a days.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I mean I'd preferably use shoes I already have, get a friend to do my hair, and give the $350 to a food bank but hey, that's my opinion. Do whatever you please with your money!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No one else is in shock about a black girl on amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm a black girl on Amirite; no one is ever in shock over me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you come in at the perfect time on this. everyones all just talking about the money and your still on that shes black.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If I ever need nice shoes, I go to Payless, because they have good shoes. As for my hair, I don't do anything to it except shampoo and conditioner. Occasionally I'll go to my friend's house and straighten it for fun. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This post is made by someone so terrified of what little nobodys on amirite that she has to keep backing up and defending it. You're all useless, but mostly the poster. Buy a fucking wig and no more shoes. What the hell is wrong with YOU for thinking you had to spend over 40 bucks on fucking shoes. Shoes. Your waste of money and your boasting of such moronic spendthrifting automatically makes you a shmuck. But then, no, you weren't done lowering the bar. Making it seem like you, an overpriced useless attention whore, is actually worth anything. Forget valuable, you're a god damn special as cancer or a brain tumor. Now, do a favor and die. And manage to bring the rest of these chumps to die too.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow, calm down. There's no need for so many insults and curses. Grow up.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Damn dude, someone missed nap time or something?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

haha.. if i and everyone else who commented on this post are worthless than why did you waste your time "enlightening" us

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If she has money she's allowed to spend it. Get over yourself -.-

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Straight men can't tell how expensive your shoes/hair is and could care less, so if the point of buying those expensive things is to attract a guy, you're wasting your time and money. If it is just for you, then it's your money do what you want. But if I had that kind of money to spend, I would probably save it for college/house/car/family, not a pair of shoes that wouldn't last anyways.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I bought a pair of $200 boots once, they've thus far lasted over two years with regualr use. Sometimes it's better to spend a little on a quality product that will last long as opposed to a cheap product that you'll have to replace in a few months. If you've already got money for all the things you need, there's nothing wrong with spending on what you want.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, we really don't 'have the right' to do that. And yes, That is high maintenance.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

She has the right to spend it on whatever she want. Why be so uptight? My friends spend at least $600 on their pair of Chanels or Louboutins, and if they can afford it, I don't see the big deal.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well it depends on who's money it is. If it's someone elses money that they're blowing on a regular basis then yes, it is a big deal. People just take things for granted nowadays, it's honestly unbelievable.
