+438 I hate when people are in relatioships, but go behind their boyfriend/girlfriend's back and flirt with other people. If you can't make up your mind you shouldn't be in a relationship. amirite?

Flirting sometimes happens because it's someone's personality, not because they want someone else. I love my boyfriend but when I'm hanging out with a bunch of guys I can't help but flirt, and half the time I don't even realize I'm doing it. My boyfriend knows that I am a flirty person and he knows that he fell in love with me because I was like that. He also knows that he is the guy I want to be with.

I'm sure your boyfriend loves it as well.

It may be a 'personality thing', a small piece of it. But if one makes a conscious effort to remember that they are in fact in a relationship and don't need the approval of other guys/girls to feel good about themselves, then it is perfectly reasonable to suggest that they should not go around flirting all the time.

What are you, like 15? You people take relationships way to seriously, it's very rare that you've met your soulmate and you get jealous over the most subtle things

Not all couples consider flirting to be cheating, or even inappropriate. I have no problem with my boy flirting with other people because I know I'm the one he wants.

it pretty much depends on your level of security in the relationship.

My boyfriend and I don't care if the other flirts with someone. We trust one another and it's just natural to flirt once in awhile. I know he loves me and he knows I love him. As long as you aren't actually making attempts to get dates etc.. then it shouldn't be a problem.
