im saying no way cause the way your wording it says that we have no choice. we CAN get along if we really wanted to, your last sentence states that were incapable of being a entirely good person. but its not that were UNABLE to be wholly good its that were UNWILLING to be wholly good. people are not jsut automatically mixed between good n evil, it comes from choices. know the difference between unable and unwilling, if were were naturally in a gray area then there would not be such things as morals and ethics.

You really think, even if everyone makes their mind up to try to be peaceful, that we could maintain that for even a few minutes? Humans are too flawed.

yes i do think wed be able to do it, But the mind is in control of everything, if every single person CHOSE to be peaceful and good to one another all the time, nothing would be able to stop them unless they choose to do something or say something bad. your implying we are naturally mixed between 1:good and 2:bad, but to create the mixture u have to understand what 2 things create it and CHOOSE to include those 2 inside your mind.

Yes, but that choice is a repetitive thing, not a one time thing. Humans are very complex, and it's not like we can just flip a switch and there's our good intentions. The bad in us will always be there.

never said it was an easy thing to do, but saying we have no CHOICE in the matter of our own morals and actions and that we are automatically unethical is a contradiction. to say that there are no blacks(bad) and whites(good), only grays is stupid and just an excuse of telling yourself its OK to be a terrible person sometimes because your not in control of it so its not your fault. we all have to take responsibility for our actions we CHOOSE to do
