+146 Life would be boring without swear words. I mean, saying "pass the fucking salt" is alot better than "pass the salt", amirite?

Unnecessary swearing is irritating...

I hate when people say using profanity is a reflection upon your intelligence. I mean, although the words have negative connotations, I don't necessarily think they're horrible words that should never be said and they're very useful we you need emphasis.

Or, "pass the damn ham." Best line to be said by a 7 year-old.

"A lot" is TWO words, not one.

I used to swear at least once in every sentence. I don't swear at all now. I haven't noticed any difference in the amount of excitement in my life. The only difference is that now I have to think of other things to say when I am pissed off. It seems that insulting people is a bit more fun when you have to get creative; "you are the most ignorant, pompous, irritating idiot I have ever had the displeasure of meeting" is way more specific and fun to say than any generic statement of displeasure I could make with a cuss word.
