in pokemon the really good moves like hyper beam and aeroblast have little power points while the useless moves like growl and tail whip have a ton of power ponits, amirite?

Hyper Beam sucks. Makes your Pokemon inert for an entire turn. Just use Return. It has 2/3x the power, 4x the PP, and doesn't make your Pokemon "recharge".

I'm pretty sure that's the point. Why would they let you use a move as kickass as Aeroblast 40 times? Every move has some sort of limit.
