+337 If you think about it, our heads are really weird. Our face is all smushed up in the front, and then we have a large, empty space covered my strands of dead cells, amirite?

Well, if you don't have a brain, then I guess there is a large empty space. lmao.

...I was talking about the outside, hence the whole, "strands of dead cells" [hair]

I'm not entirely sure, but I think put faces are they way they are because it maximizes our ability to sense things productively. 4 of your 5 sense can easily be accessed from your face with ease. Imagine how inconvenient it would be if you had to look at something from the top of your head and then bring it around to the back to taste it. The ears are on the sides of our head because they can sense things from any direction and can identify things fairly well, so we aren't completely ignorant to our surroundings. Our hair makes our heads warm.

Its adaptation... eyes are in front for predator animals (dogs, cats, humans) and eyes are on the side for prey animals (most fish, lizards, rabbits). And hair is an adaptation to keep us warm. So not that weird
