Getting both sides of their noses pierced is just another piercing they have that defines them. I have friends with both.

You know, I can understand not seeing the point of piercings, but you're being pretty obnoxious about it. Everyone disagrees with some fashion statements, but I'm sure there are some things you do that others believe look stupid. No reason to judge a group of probably nice people by their external appearance choices

People change their external appearance to match their personalities, as shown by people that make big statements like getting both sides of their nose pierced. It's kind of like they want to be judged on their appearance and that's why they do what they want with it.
