My grandma is a hippie, it's annoying.

My grandparents weren't hippies and they've worked harder in their lifetime than every hippie grandparent in the world combined. That makes them awesome.

I'm sure they are awesome. But stating that they worked harder than all the hippy grandparents combined... Bit bold, don't you think? I don't have hippy grandparents, - and I think they're awesome- but not one person's hard work or achievements can really trump that of another considering you don't know their circumstances... I just find a life lived full of free love and rebelious streaks create interresting people with awesome stories to tell. =)

My boyfriends parents are hippies and they are some hard working people, they have just experienced some wonderful things. His mom drove herself to woodstock in 1969 when she was just 18-thats the shit, I wish I could say that. Those were literally the most carefree days America has seen, and it will never be that way again
