It's sad how some kids now can just sit down and get sucked into whatever's on TV, even if it's something boring like the auction channel. To them, it doesn't matter what's on as long as they can watch it, amirite?

That's not always true. I know a little girl who throws a fit if the channel it's turned to is something other than Nick Jr. or some other cartoon/kids' channel. Also,nobody I know is ever bored enough to watch something like the Auction Network or Shopping Network. If a channel like that is on,we either change it or just leave. It's not about something being put in front of you,it's about something entertaining you.

Well, I don't like watching actual auctions, but I do watch Auction Kings. But only because of the terrible acting.
