Am I the only one who can happily understand that things suck, but that they'll get better, and that makes everything okay? Is it so uncommon to realize that there's shit wrong with your life, but there's so much shit right with your life, and without the horrible things you'd never be able to have the wonderful things. For this reason, everything is okay. Everything is perfect.

I appreciate the way you view things. But for some of us, the bad things out-number the good ones, and the bad ones have been here longer than the good ones have. Putting up with shit is hard to do, so I hope your positive attitude rubs off on me :) Also, even though they will eventually get better, it doesn't mean that it makes everything okay in present time. Egypt is in total hell right now and you don't hear people saying "they're doing great, everything is fine".

Yeah, like once that mosquito bite stops itching i'll just get a bruise. And when that's gone I'll have a scraped knee. And when that heals I'll, I don't know, stub my toe or something (which is the WORST of all of these!) But it's okay, I can handle those.

It is called, my dear friends, optimism. :) Like, right now: All my friends are complaining about Valentine's Day coming up, and they ask me why I look forward to it every year. I've never gotten a Valentine, but I keep up the hope that every year, I just might. I never do, but that is why it's called optimism. Try it, why don't you? :)
