+385 School uniforms are a good thing: they push back the slut force, they eliminate what-will-I-wear mornings, and if your shirt is clean and you wear it two days in a row, no one will judge, amirite?

There are better ways to show individuality than through clothing. Besides, the people who complain about uniforms because it takes away their "individual choices" are the ones who are buying all the trendy crap so they can look just like their friends.

yes, but expressing yourself through clothing is especially important because that is the first thing people see when they look at you. the clothes you choose to wear represent what you want the world to see and think of you. and no, i'm not buying 'trendy' shit to look like my friends. i just believe that everyone should be entitled to choose the clothes they wear.

We can wear whatever shoes we want as long as they are mostly neutral colors, so we express our individuality through shoes, hair, makeup, and jewelry. The guys use shoes, hair, and style of shorts/pants and jacket.

My school uniform is ridiculous. The skirts are supposed to be practically nun length. The slut force chavs still wear what looks like black cling film that barely covers their asses :/

Haha, slut force. I'm so using that now.

All things considered the slut force isn't too high at my school. The lack of guys and scary disciplinarian probably has something to do with that though...

Man how I miss my uniform... :(

i lost count of how many times i had to write persuasive essays about school uniforms. everyone always wrote that we should have them since that was the easier position on which to write a whole essay, but i doubt any of us actually endorsed what we were saying.

School uniforms are just so uncomfortable.

why the hell does the 'slut force' matter? if girls want to wear revealing clothes, whose to say they can't? it's stupid to preoccupy yourself with concerns like those. they may eliminate worrying about your outfit, but they also eliminate any form of self- expression. not to mention they get boring and redundant very quickly. also, who cares if you're wearing the same thing twice as long as it's clean? jesus, people. the pros of uniforms are nothing compared to the freedom we're given. i have a few friends in private schools and they'd die to not have to wear uniforms.

School uniforms are stupid. I'd be alright with it if all we had to do was wear a school skirt and top. But no, we have to wear specific school closed in shoes with below the knee socks in winter and roman sandals in summer. We have to always wear our hair up unless it's shorter than the ends of our ears. We're not allowed ANY jewellery at all, not even earrings. No nail polish, no extra accessories. Our hair ties have to be black. We're not allowed to dye our hair, even if it's a natural colour. Seriously. So stupid, I don't even know the point in all of it. And they don't stop the slut force, girls just roll up the waist of their skirts so that their skirts are shorter. We're not even a private school, just a normal public one. I'm sorry, I just really hate my uniform. Okay rant over.

Haha, at my old school, the uniform was just a school shirt and bottom (you had a choice of what kind of bottom) and whatever shoes, socks, hair, accessories, etc you wanna wear, you can wear, as long as you stick to the original uniform. there was a free dress day every second and fourth wednesday.

My school doesn't really have a uniform for the upperclassmen, we just have to wear our school's bleu polo, the pants choice is up to us. The fact that our dress code policy is strict yet nobody cares is why my school is just a bunch of smartass sluts. There is still the group of us who aren't like that, but thats only like 10%. We aren't supposed to wear skirts longer than middle finger, aww fuck that I've seen girls wearing a skirt that is most likely a hairband. We aren't supposed to wear spaghetti strap shirts and strapless, HAHA when do you NOT see a girl wearing that? Our PE teacher must be on drugs or something, one of the super-sluts decided to wear stiletto-heels to school despite it being a PE day, and he was totally fine with it. I don't know what it is with dress codes, but sluts definitely know how to utilize them.
